We had a very busy weekend, celebrating with two great friends, as they joined the ranks of married folk. Sebastian got to go to both weddings with us, and did extremely well...never mind the clearly audible sucking noise heard during "silent worship" at the Quaker wedding... that was his THUMB, even though those around me didn't believe me as they witnessed a squirmy body underneath my nursing cover!
It was great fun to witness couples so in love making vows to one another - brings back such wonderful memories!
And Seb had his first dance on a real dance floor... Maureen swept him off his feet!

Maureen and Saif are married!
A wedding celebration at Felicita Gardens in Harrisburg - Maureen and Saif are now married! We had another excursion weekend, as we headed to a little paradise just outside of Harrisburg - who knew?!?! We were honored to bear witness to the ceremony on Friday night and to join in big time bbq fun on Saturday! The gardens where the ceremony was held were gorgeous, and the weather perfect. Maureen was a beautiful bride, and the two families united cultures, languages and religions across many miles and bodies of water.
We had some time to meander through the gardens and get some great photos, dance a little, and even get in a game of bocce ball!
Here's a sampling of a few pictures; a slide show will follow later!

Vacation photos...better late than never!
We had a wonderful time on vacation along the central coast of California. Life picked up immediately, with its normal, very busy pace, as soon as we were home. We're happy to share our photos with you. Here are some of my favorites, with a slide show to follow in the next post!
My beautiful niece!
Tim & me at the wharf in Santa Barbara.
Our favorite artist/architect at the Italian Street Art Festival at the Santa Barbara Mission.
My nephew digging for dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History in Santa Barbara.
Tim & me at the bluff along the Pacific Ocean, where we camped at El Capitan State Park, north of Santa Barbara.
The refreshing pools along the river in Los Padres National Forest, where we camped and hiked.

My super swell cousin, Duane, who's happy as a clam, with his new, lovely bride, Audrey. Congratulations! We love you both! Welcome to the family, Audrey.
